im BACK babeh! Sunday, April 05, 2009

Exams are over and term break is here!!
Gonna miss all u guys from Currie Hall!
Being one of the last ones, it was sad seeing u guys leave one by one.
The whole floor was like a ghost town.. no blasting music.. no uncontrollable laughter.. no random nonsense in the corridors.. no excessive noise..
cant wait to see u guys again in 2 weeks! Till then.. hope u guys enjoy your holidays!

Finally got back to Malaysia last night! wooh!
And for those who dont know, I'm still using my old Malaysian number.
Free anytime so just give me a call peeps!
To all those people who just got their license.. come pick me up!!! =p

First thing i did was go to the mamak with Mr Mark, Phil, RueBen and Chris/Anthrax hahaha..
Thanks jay for picking me up even though. u have a 'whole pile of assignemnts to do'!
And being the incredibly random people we are..
we drove all the way to shah alam for no reason whatsoever after mamak.. looking for a place to lim teh..
Got pulled over at a roadblock because Jay forgot to switch on his headlights =.=
the guy who pulled us over was obviously fishing for kopi money.
one of the many common things i totally miss about malaysia..
having a system which is made up of 90% corruption and bribes.
Ended up hanging out in Phils house until 2-3am afterwards haha..

Finally satisfied my craving for bah kut teh today. Mmmmm..
I sure miss Malaysian food! Delicious and cheap.
Now, I have to start hunting for a guitar and to repair my broken camera =/
Till next time, Ciao!

Farewell Wednesday, March 25, 2009

okay..just wanted to tell Phil and Sean and Shu Yen a thank you for helping me in my neverending queries about getting an iPhone in Aussie. Especially Sean coz I think you actually went and research for me. Haha.
Because who cares now?
I'm not getting one there.

~~~
That's because I already have an awesome sleek black 16GB iPhone HERE!! In Malaysia. Bahahahaha!!
So no, I won't be getting a new pda handphone.
So no, I won't be getting an iPod.
Because all I need now is an aussie number and a new SIM card. =D
Anyway, to everyone here in Malaysia, a bon voyage, an au revoir,a selamat tinggal, and a goodbye. Flight's tonight. So I'll be updating you and posting in from Sydney then. =D
The Final Outing Friday, March 20, 2009
Haha. My title sounds like some sort of horror flick where gruesome deaths are involved. Haha.
Anyway, went out with the guys today. When I say guys, I really mean GUYS. As in I'm the only girl there.
And it was FUN. So thank you Jay Min, Ruei Pern, Kyle Ng, Vhimal, and Yong Sheng for willing to spend the afternoon with me! It was simple. Just makan, snooker and bowling. We intended to go for a movie (which Vhi and Kyle were suddenly very eager to go for when they reached the cinema for some suspicious reasons) but there wasn't enough time.
Headed off to the bowling alley for bowling but unfortunately, the whole place was packed. So Jay and Ruei Pern suggested that we go Klang Parade for bowling instead. Here's where I thank you guys. I know I told you guys about how much I wanted to bowl and so thanks guys for being so obliging. =D
I actually have a pic of the bowling thing but it's in my hp, so forget it. And here are the nicknames, Gutter Boy/Chosen 1 (Vhi scored the highest = 99), Mellow (Me), Striker (rp), Gutter (Kyle), 16kgballs (sheng), Jayhoe (jay).   *snicker*
Really, you guys made my day. Thanks guys. =D
Results Day. Thursday, March 12, 2009
Of course, as results day go, there is always the good and the bad. The happy and the sad
To those who are happy, congratulations on your results! You obviously got what you wanted! =D So, good job and congrats again!
To those who are not entirely happy or disappointed with their results, don't worry too much about it. It's SPM. There's more to come in the future. So work harder. It ain't over till you say it's over. And I'll punch you if you say it's over. I'm serious.
So, I went to school and collected my results. Then..Sam and I went to 1 Utama to celebrate/hang out. Haha.
Went makan at a new restaurant (well,it's new to me at least) called Garden
Was there for quite awhile. Then we walked about rather randomly and aimlessly.
Then we decided to try the overpriced chocolate at a place called Chocolate. *redundancy* *rolls of eyes*
Yummy, thick chocolate Little Janes. But overpriced. Haha.
Again, walked around aimlessly. Until about 5. Then Sam had to go home.
I rushed to meet my parents for a celebratory dinner at Ms. Read.
Yay! Very happy that THEY are happy. =D
And I forgot this but THANKS Sam! For the ride, the talk, and the hanging out. It may have just been us both, but it was good enough for me. =D
To the class of 2008 of Acmar, I'm proud of each of you no matter what. To me, this is the best batch EVER. 'Hah!' to the rest.
Slumdogs and Countdowns and FOOOOD Sunday, March 08, 2009
Okay..finally i watched it..
Slumdog Millionaire
and I like it. I think it deserved the wins. I liked the way the whole movie was in bits and pieces. Brilliant pasting and cutting of scenes. And the emo parts. The whole depressing portrayal of the miserable lives of the poor. And their miserable luck. But i found the whole 'destiny' thing very bollywood fairy tale. Haha..
Went to ipoh during the weekends. For a food fest. Hahaha. Wanted to try the 'tong sui' that most modern kids don't get a chance to eat nowadays.
We had: (all in cantonese)
1. hong tau sah ~ red bean soup (common)
2. wan tou long~ direct translation would be..err...dizzy something..its shaven ice with lemon jelly with a squeeze of lime. sweet and my fav by far.
3. kai tan tong sui~ direct translation would be chicken egg sweet soup..haha..its a boiled egg in herbal sweet soup that tastes like gui ling gao (herbal jelly)
4. chu cap chuk~ pig organs porridge (it sounds weird but hey, chinese eat everything. and its not bad)
5. wan tan mee~ u ppl don't need me to talk about this.
6. fish head mee hoon
7. hor hee ~its actually just hor fun soup but for some reason, ipoh people call it this way
And the countdowns begin for:
1. Results day
2. Departure day
